Good Morning! Today is going to be the hottest of the week.  I ran a couple of miles last night and it was plenty hot then.  Mark is having an awesome time in PA and apparently doing very well.  Jess after a great struggle with STAT over the weekend called to say she got an A, I was not surprised.  Carol is having Nurse Camp this week, lots of HS kids looking at a nursing career.  Hope you have a great day!  Stay cool out there.

“The Lord saw that the wickedness of humankind was great in the earth, and that every inclination of the thoughts of their hearts was only evil continually.” Genesis 6:5

I can only imagine the heartbreak of the Lord seeing only wickedness.  We see sin as a cancer, it grows and feeds off everything around it.  The world God had created and called good has gone bad.  Evil begot evil, an important lesson for us all.  Unchecked wickedness multiplies and spreads.  What are we to do?  We have to pour more goodness into the world.  We can’t kill sin, but we can crowd it out.  I was talking about growing grass with a friend last night.  You have good grass but taking great care of the grass, it will push out the weeds.  Grass will push out the weeds.  Goodness will overcome evil, spread some goodness today. A message for today!
