Thursday, July 2, 2009
Good Morning! I had such a wonderful BD yesterday. Carol gave me a couple of my favorite shirts, the kids all called, and the church, well the church was awesome surprising me with a wonderful party. Thank you all so much! It was wonderful! The weekend is quickly approaching. Carol is off to the great north tonight, the boys are coming in tomorrow from Columbia. Let the weekend begin. Hope to see many of you Sunday! Enjoy a marvelous day!
Please keep Carole Bierbower in your prayers, her sister-in-law Mary Jacobs has had a stoke.
“Noah, a man of the soil, was the first to plant a vineyard.” Genesis 9:20
Noah, a man of the soil, was saved from the flood. Indeed, let the growing of crops begin. Noah first it says plants a vineyard, well I will let you read the rest of the story. The thing I want us to see is Noah as a farmer and steward of the land. We may not be farmers, be we are called to be stewards of the land. What is your eco foot print? If you don’t even know what this means it will give you something to do the next few days looking for it. May God bless and keep you. A message for today!
Yesterday’s question: What prophet claimed that Edom, Moab Ammon, and Tyre all had sorcerers? Jeremiah Virginia West is our winner today!
Today’s question: What prophet of Moab had a talking donkey?
