A Morning Message July 8, 2009
Wednesday, July 8, 2009
Good Morning! I got the trim sanded and caulked last night, ready to paint. It looks great, but I will be glad to be finished with this project. It continues to warm up, today, looks warm, but nothing compared to Thursday and Friday. Don’t forget a great dinner is in store this evening, Vickie is our guest chef. Enjoy the day, God bless!
“What it is that you have done to me? Why did you not tell me that she was your wife?” Genesis 12:18
God sends Abraham out to a place God will direct. Abraham is on God’s mission. He has been faithful, he has gone, left the familiar behind, but here he goes astray. A famine has driven them to Egypt and Abraham concocts a story to that Sara is his sister. Hmm. Of course she is beautiful and the Egyptian men are attracted to her. She is a married woman and God has big plans for this couple. Bad things happen to the Egyptians and hence we hear this confrontation. Trusting God’s call is trusting God’s way. If He has called us we can be assured God knows how to get us where we are going. Will we trust the journey? A message for today!
