A Morning Message November 06, 2009
Friday, November 6th , 2009
Good Morning! Friday has arrived, hope you are ready for tomorrow. This place is busy busy with preparation. Took a little time this morning for a longer run. I got in 11. 6 miles, then my ipod died and I lost my ability to track miles. I had to go back and drive the route to figure out miles. I did have a clock so I’m happy with the time, however I would have gone the full 13.1 if I had know where I was. Anyway, another day. Hope to see you early tomorrow, enjoy the day!
“But take care and watch yourselves closely, so as neither to forget the things that your eyes have seen nor to let them slip from your mind all the days of your life; make them known to your children and your children’s children.” Deuteronomy 4:9
History has a way of repeating itself. Do we learn the lessons from those that have gone before us? Sometimes, sometimes not. God wants us to learn from the mistakes of those that have gone before us, and to learn the glorious lessons of those that have gone before us. History can teach us a great deal in preparation for our future. I fear that we are not always attentive to teaching our children and children’s children, but I pray it will be a priority. A message for today!
