A Morning Message December 18, 2009
Friday, December 18th, 2009
Good Morning! Christmas countdown is under a week. It sounds like maybe a little snow is headed our way, we will see. Mo has a house guest, Roxie. Carol’s friend Diana is away and we are taking care of her puppy. It was not a restful night at our house last night. I don’t think Mo closed his eyes. I am hoping this gets better, we have Roxy for a week. Tomorrow off to Springfield to see Mark, and then by Monday, he should be home for break. Have a great weekend, you don’t want to miss church this Sunday!
Please pass the word. One Service this Sunday at 10:30. The choir and the praise band will both be at the 10:30 service.
“It the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not fail you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.” Deuteronomy 31:8
Moses is over 100 years old. He is less mobile and he is coming to the end of his earthly life. What will the people do? They may have thought they were following Moses, but of course they were following the Lord all along. Moses was clearly following the Lord. Moses is giving them an encouragement, they will be fine. Follow the Lord who goes before you. A pretty good idea for us as well. May we follow the Lord who goes before us. A message for today!
Yesterday’s question: Who was the commander of David’s army? Joel Pete Walter is our winners today!
Today’s question: What plague in Egypt was mixed with fire?
