Good Morning! It is a little cooler this morning and cloudy, but still a nice morning. I was able to complete my weekly 30 I strive to maintain. A bit slower weekend at our house, looking forward to catching up on some household chores. Hope you have a great weekend! Have a great day!
“Samuel took a vial of oil and poured it on his head, and kissed him; he said, ‘The Lord has anointed you ruler over his people Israel. You shall reign over the people of the Lord and you will save them from the hand of their enemies all around.” Samuel 10:1
Please keep Jack Blackwell and family in your prayers. Jack’s grandfather passed away.
Samuel is anointing Saul the first King. The story is wonderful, it tells of a most unlikely candidate that the Lord lifts up to this position. God does this you know? It isn’t the one we might think, or even the most qualified. God takes a person of God’s choosing and does amazing things. The key, as we will see is for the person to remain in the hand of God. Again we must answer, ‘here I am send me.’ Just a thought for today.
Yesterday’s question: What state has a city named after Boaz husband of Ruth? Alabama Sarah Huff is our winner today.
