A Morning Message July 28, 2010
Wednesday, July 28th, 2010
Good Morning! Tomorrow is the day we leave for Africa. Time moves quickly. We had friends from the lake in for the evening, dinner and catching up. Really fun. Pete will be in today for the dogs and dropping off his stuff. He will live out of a suitcase until the Navy calls him. Busy day in the office, looks to be hot and steamy outside. Have a great week.
“We are yours O David; and with you, O son of Jesse! Peace, peace to you, and peace to the one who helps you! For your God is the one who helps you.” 1 Chronicles 11:18
David is making an assessment. To those that are with him he will stand firm, but those that oppose him he will bring down. He has posed the question to some and it says the spirit came upon them and one of them gave this reply. David has experience with those that claim to be on his side but clearly are not. He must judge the reply, where does he find wisdom. In the God that delivered him of course. Where do we seek our wisdom? Just a thought for today.
Yesterday’s question: Where were the apostles when tongues of fire rested upon them? Jerusalem. Virginia West is our winner today!
Today’s question: How long will our mission team be in Africa?
