A Morning Message August 17, 2010
Tuesday, August 17th, 2010
Good Morning! What a wonderful day. The last two days running has been awesome, but the dog days of summer are coming back. I am beginning to get email from our new friends in Mozambique, we made some great associations. If you would be interested in a great dog I have one, however Saturday we may have a new home for her, so if you are interested please let me know. Can you believe school starts this week? Being gone the first two weeks of August made it really come fast. Natalie is out today, taking the kids for a last big outing before school starts. Have a great day! God bless you all.
“The fame of David went out into all lands, and the Lord brought the fear of him on all nations.” 1 Chronicles 14:17
This chapter is an interesting read. It talks about David seeking God’s direction. It isn’t a general direction, it is specific. I find this particularly interesting because it reflects David’s relationship with God. We can get some general sense sometimes when we have a general relationship with God, but the specifics David is receiving come from a very close and personal relationship with God. Want more specific in your life? Maybe God wants to spend more time with you. Just a thought for today.
Yesterday’s question: Following Paul’s advice to Timothy, what type of men should not be “doubletongued”? Deacons Barb Davis is our winner today!
Today’s question: According to Paul, when a person speaks with the gift of tongues, who is he speaking to?
