A Morning Message August 19, 2010
Thursday, August 19th, 2010
Good Morning! The week is flying by. I have a confirmed new home for Mark’s dog Yoko. A friend in Springfield is taking her and so excited to have a new puppy. Carol is home sick today, she has hives. The hives started yesterday and got worse, much worse. We called the ER last night and they felt she was doing all they would for now. She took drugs to Africa to combat something like this and had started them. She is off to see her doctor today. Poor baby. The kids began school today, watch for wandering little ones and big yellow buses. Have a great day and God bless you all.
“Then on that day David first appointed the singing of praises to the Lord by Asaph and his kindred.” 1 Chronicles 16:7
The first Praise and Worship band is born and the first Praise and Worship song is sung. And we thought hymns proceeded P & W, hmmm. I am not sure what the big deal is about, when we are singing praises to God in any form it is good. It is interesting coming back from Africa where instrumental music is rare. A drum is nice, but they don’t really need it. They harmonize and simply praise God, what more could you want. Just a thought for today.
Yesterday’s question: What prophet proclaimed, ‘The Lord God hath given me the tongue of the learned’? Isaiah Pete Walter is our winner today!
Today’s question: What earthty Old Testament book says, “Honey and milk are under thy tongue; and the smell of they garments is like the smell of Lebanon”?
