We think that attending a Sunday morning study group (or even the non-Sunday ones) is a great way to start the worship and growth experience. You should be able to find at least one that interests you.

Sunday School – Preschool thru Grade 6
Children age 3 through Grade 6 will experience an exciting time of fun and learning during the Sunday School hour each Sunday morning. There will be age-appropriate music, Bible stories, and fun activities to help children have a great time while they learn to apply Bible teachings to their lives.
Nursery is located between the Fellowship Hall and the Worship Center
Sunday School – Youth and Teens
Junior and Senior High youth gather each Sunday morning at 9:30 am to study and discuss issues relevant to their age level. They have a good time while learning more about God and how to apply their faith in Jesus Christ to their everyday experiences. All youth are welcome to join this exciting journey!

Sunday School – ‘Primetimers’ Senior Adults
This friendly group of seniors enjoys studies that are Bible-based. Just starting a new study of the Book of James. No outside preparation required. Everyone is invited and welcome to this class.

Sunday School – ‘Faithlink’ Adult Class
Adults of any age are welcome to join in this class that discusses current events and Methodist perspectives on what’s going on in the world today. No prior preparation is required. Come and learn more about what Methodists believe and how the Bible relates to national and world events. If you enjoy friendly, open, and lively discussion, this may be the class for you!

Sunday School – ‘Discovery’ Class
Another adult Sunday School option for those who enjoy Bible-based studies.
Using the Life Lessons series on the Book of Romans by Max Lucado. Anyone is welcome to join this class at anytime.
If you want to learn more about the Bible and its applications for your life in a fun and friendly group, you may want to consider this class. There is a book for this class and some preparation is helpful to get the most benefit from this study.
Located in the SUMC Library, Sunday 9:30am
Sunday School – ‘UM 101′
This is a basic introduction to the beliefs and organizational foundations of the United Methodist Church. The five-week course covers the following:
Week 1: Introduction
Week 2: History
Week 3: Theology and Beliefs
Week 4: Organizational Governance
Week 5: Present/Future Challenges
This class will cycle with a new class starting the week following the conclusion of the five-week cycle.

Sunday School – ‘Prayer Matters’
This group meets together during each Sunday morning to pray for that morning’s worship services, those on our SUMC prayer list, and for the leaders and ministries of our church, and for specific requests that have been brought to the group.
ANYONE who would like to pray is welcome to meet with this extremely important group!
