About Our Church
"Welcome. Salem UMC is a place to call home! We are an open family, eager to welcome friends, new and old, to our ever-expanding table. We extend a special welcome to those who are single, married, divorced, widowed, filthy rich, or dirt poor. We welcome those who are in recovery or still addicted. We offer a special welcome to those who could use a prayer right now, to those who are “just browsing”, just woke up, or just got out of jail. We welcome those who are inked, pierced, or both, or neither. We welcome tourists, seekers and doubters, liberals and conservatives … and you!
The bottom line is this; whoever you are, wherever you are in life’s journey God loves you and so do we. We invite you to share in our mission to live as a community who follows Jesus as we worship, learn, serve, and celebrate together."
